First up, the hotel room. The hotel is located at the city center so there were plenty of options where to dine and shop. But we didn’t really need to go out because everything we required was in Novotel. We enjoyed a comfortable night stay in a spacious, cozy and light-filled room at Novotel Canberra, complete with all the amenities we needed.
As part of the package, we had a full-service breakfast buffet to start our alpine adventure on a full stomach. We were thrilled upon arriving at Corin Forest. The weather was great, and we saw lots of other guests from Novotel enjoying the snow.

Corin Forest has complete amenities and toilets. The friendly team assisted us with snow gear hire from kids aged 4 to adults of all sizes. We recommend that you bring your own gloves for yourself and the whole family. We had free toboggan hire included in our package, so the kids immediately set out to try them.

While the kids were enjoying themselves, we got some precious time to grab a warm drink at the cozy Corin Café. The kids enjoyed the snow so much they did not want to leave!
After an awesome day in the snow, we drove back to Novotel Canberra. Once there, we decided to spend some time warming up. The hotel’s indoor heated pool was the perfect spot to start. After a relaxing swim, we enjoyed the spa, which helped soothe our muscles. To top it off, we unwound further in the sauna, feeling completely rejuvenated by the end of it all.

And because we stayed for 2-nights, we got a $40 dinner voucher at First Edition Canberra. There were great choices for the family, our kids especially loved the pasta. Our dinner was excellent, and it was the perfect way to cap off our family trip, making it a memorable experience for all of us.
Our quick family holiday at Novotel Canberra was made even more special with the Snowplay package. We got to experience the snow firsthand, which was a such a treat for everyone. The tobogganing was a highlight, providing endless fun and excitement. After a day of snow activities, it was wonderful to relax in the warmth and comfort of the hotel. We had such a fantastic time that we’d definitely be coming back for another stay.
