Sunset Sessions: Live music at Cockatoo Island
Sydney’s favourite live music series has returned to Cockatoo Island! The 2025 season of Sunset Sessions runs Saturday afternoons from 11 January to 5 April.
For just $35, parents can enjoy performances by talented local musicians in an outdoor venue with epic harbour views. Plus, families can pack a picnic or purchase food and beverage at the venue for a hassle-free experience.
Best of all? Kids 12 and under can attend Sunset Sessions for FREE! Plus, Cockatoo Island is easy to get to – The F3 and F8 services run there daily, departing from Circular Quay and Barangaroo as well as from wharves along Parramatta River. For the quickest trip, jump on the ferry at Barangaroo – you’ll be at the island in just 9 minutes!
