Discover the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan
A Perfect Family Escape
Looking for a beautiful outdoor adventure that the whole family can enjoy? We recently visited the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan, and it was a perfect destination for the whole family to explore, unwind, and connect with nature. Nestled in South Western Sydney, this breathtaking garden spans 416 hectares and showcases over 4,000 native and introduced plant species.
A Natural Playground for Families
The kids had such a great time exploring the timber playground the gardens has on offer. The fully fenced playground would be a great spot for little ones, so they can explore safely, while mum relaxed and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Pram-friendly paths make it easy to navigate the gardens, and there are plenty of shaded picnic areas where you can unwind with friends while the kids run free on the expansive lawns.
Sundial Hill: A Must-See Viewpoint
For a breathtaking view of Sydney and the Blue Mountains, be sure to check out Sundial Hill, located just off Caley Drive. The 360-degree views make for an incredible photo opportunity. We set up at one of the tables here and enjoyed the view whilst having a picnic lunch.
