Blacktown City Council thrilled to unveil the designs for the much-anticipated revitalisation of the Mount Druitt Hub! This transformation aims to enhance community spaces, improve accessibility, and create a vibrant hub for all to enjoy. Now, they want to hear from you!

Blacktown City Council is committed to revitalising our local communities by developing exciting new facilities, ensuring residents can work and play where they live.

Council is working closely with community leaders and residents to design and build these projects, which form part of our vision for a modern and vibrant Blacktown City.

This $26.8 million project is proudly funded under the NSW Government’s Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants Program (WSIG), contributing to the larger $273 million investment Council has received to enhance community spaces.

  • Expansion and modernisation of the current library and community centre
  • Upgrades to the public domain adjacent to the Hub
  • Strengthening the Hub as a vital community asset within the Mount Druitt city centre precinct
