Blaxland Riverside Park

Let the kids run wild and blow off some energy at Blaxland Riverside Park in Sydney Olympic Park.

The parklands span across three acres sprawling with challenges and activities for kids of all ages. 

This sprawling wonderland has plenty of space for the kids to discover, climb and slide about with exciting play areas, including climbing frames, swings, and a thrilling flying fox that allows children to soar through the air.

Plus there’s a Viking swing, multi-level tree house, a boulder wall, mega-swing, multiple tunnel slides, climbing nets and spinning play disc. This playground is sure to spark imaginations and provide endless hours of fun for kids of all ages.

Located alongside the Parramatta River, there’s walking and cycling paths around the park extending into Sydney Olympic Park area. It’s a great place for a family walk or you can bring your own bikes or hire them on site.

Stop for a bite to eat at The Armory Wharf Cafe and take in the views of the Parramatta River or grab something to eat or drink at the kiosk next to the water playground.

And don’t forget to cool off at the water park, which features one of the largest outdoor water play areas where kids can splash around in safe conditions making for hours of fun.

However shading is limited so be sure to bring sun protection; suncream, hats and sunglasses as the park does get hot in sun. The park features expansive grass fields that are perfect for ball games, frisbee, or simply lazing around with friends and family.
