Join in the festivities of Lunar New Year in Parramatta as we welcome the Year of the Snake! Bring your family and friends to experience a night filled with cultural decorations, free activities, celebrations, delicious food and live performances.
From 4pm to 9pm, be awed by energetic 3-metre high pole lion dancing, firecrackers, Korean Cultural Centre’s K-pop dancing, cosplayers and Chinese cultural costumes roving all throughout Parramatta Square and Centenary Square.
Get ready to snap some pics of the stunning decorations and artwork installation by artist Chris Yee on display. Then, head to PHIVE to manifest good luck and fortune at the interactive alter installation and the Wishing Tree sponsored by Optus.
The street food market will offer mouth-watering dishes from up to 15 different stalls offering a selection of noodles, dumplings, bubble tea and skewers. Grab a chilled drink and relax in the licenced bar area right next to the action.
Don’t miss out on the action at the Ngurra Gunya stage sponsored by Optus with dragon dancing, Hapkido and J-pop Idols. Plus, visit the Community Stage for cultural performances.
