Bungarribee Playground
Bungarribee Park is the perfect place to explore, play and enjoy picnics with the whole family, including our furry friends! Spanning across 200-hectares with wide open spaces, over 60km of tracks and trails and an enormous play area it is one of Western Sydney’s Largest Parklands.
Kids of all ages will exert their energy exploring the amazing playground equipment including a flying fox, eight swings and an iconic climbing tower with enormous tube-slides.
Toddlers and infants can make use of the sand for sensory and imaginative play, or frolic in the water play area with their parents and older siblings. The little ones will love practising their balancing and climbing skills here!
The park is also dog friendly, so if your little ones just can’t bear to leave home without their furry friend, they can run around Warrigal Dog Run – the biggest off-leash park in Sydney. There are also two sealed tracks and the Heart Crossing Loop – a 2.3km walk directly through the Parklands, perfect for active families and those with dogs in tow.
With 8 large shelters available for booking and 10 shelters available on a first-come, first-served basis, there is more than enough space for those big family gatherings. And with 26 BBQs available to use (free of charge), your summer celebrations will be fully covered here at Bungarribee Park.
The park is located next to Sydney Zoo, so children who brave the climbing tower may just spot a cheetah, giraffe or lion from their turret before heading down the long slide! Don’t forget there is Harvey’s Social Cafe located near the dog park!
