Regatta Park – Stage one- Emu Plains

Stage one of Regatta Park in Emu Plains has opened offering families a fun family day out with an adventure playspace, kayaking, picnics and more while taking in the waterfront views of the Nepean River.

The adventure playspace which is a fully fenced facility will have the little ones running wild with challenging climbing structures, and the slide, swings, trampoline pads and more! The playspace is designed to spark young imaginations and is sure to keep the kids playing for hours.

Nature Walks and Scenic Strolls

Stroll down the pathways along the river foreshore and take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Explore the over-water viewing platforms and kayak launch areas while soaking in the beautiful surroundings of the Nepean River.

Getting there

The first section of the 90-space car park is also open. The old River Road and Great Western Highway intersection has been closed and relocated 130 metres up the road to be opposite Lamrock Street.

stage 2 – opening in 2024

Stage two will open in early next year and includes a junior cricket oval, outdoor gym equipment, additional car parking spaces, central staircase leading to the river foreshore, a new shared path, 400 new trees throughout the park, and more. A 112-metre pavilion with undercover water play, amenities building, and kiosk will also open in mid-2024
