The POD Playground also considered to be the nation’s coolest playground is 250-hectare in size and located just 6km from the city centre. This playground offers a unique interactive experience for kids of all ages with acorn cubbies, climbing nets, musical banksia pods, rope tunnels, nest swings, slides and more. The playground encourages children to climb, explore, learn and have fun all surrounded by spectacular views of Canberra.

This interactive playground is based on the idea of seeds as the beginning of life in the forest with the design elements carefully incorporating this theme. The Banksia cubbies feature cool musical elements where they can create their own and tunes and rhythms, adding a musical touch to their playground adventure.

While the kids are busy exploring and playing, you can take a moment to appreciate the stunning views over Canberra. Enjoy the range of coffee, tea and refreshments from the café in the Village Centre, you can relax and soak in the beauty of the scenery. There’s also a bonsai display and inspirational gardens to wander through as well.
