Elevate Basketball Australia was founded in 2021, by our Founder and Head Coach, Jorge Gonzalez.
Our mission:
To elevate our players physically, mentally, and emotionally in the spirit of basketball, working at their maximum levels to achieve success, in basketball and as an individual.
At EBA, we run basketball development programs for school aged children, of all skill levels across South Western, and Western Sydney, including:
➔ One-on-one and group coaching classes; from Beginner to Representative Levels
➔ Skill development: Shooting, Dribbling, Passing, Defence and Offense
➔ Basketball IQ Development
➔ Team-work and team building exercises
➔ Building fitness
➔ Learn to Play classes
Jorge first fell in love with the game of basketball at the age of 5, the first love of his life. Jorge captained his high school basketball team during 2003-2005, played representative basketball at Bankstown Bruins and Liverpool Spartans, and various other local and interstate competitions.
Jorge has since shifted his focus to coaching and mentoring the next generation of basketballers, and has the following accreditations:
➔ Certificate III in Sports Coaching
➔ Level 1 (Club Coach) Basketball Coach
➔ Working with Children Check Clearance (WWC2385705E)
➔ First Aid Certificate
➔ Basketball Referee: Community Level
