Western Sydney Mums Part-time Social Media Admin Assistant

  • 25-30 hours per week Tues – Fri preferred

Western Sydney Mums is your go-to guide for all things in the west, from the latest news on restaurants and cafes, upcoming events and playgrounds to providing a directory for jobs and small businesses. Western Sydney Mums also provides support to women and mums through a page dedicated to support services, information and resources. 

We are looking for a someone who is creative and enthusiastic to join our WSM team. As our Social Media Admin Assistant, you will play a key role in managing our social media platforms, communicating with our clients and engaging with our community of mums across Western Sydney.

Key responsibilities

  • You will be a point of contact for clients and respond with prompt effective written and verbal communication
  • Assist with all online platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and WSM website.  
  • Review the content calendar ensuring that all posts have been reviewed, updated, scheduled, and published on time.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Experience with social media platforms and WordPress
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • At least one year experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Assisting with client enquiries and providing some customer service
  • General administration duties as required
  • Preparing Client Performance Reports
